Village Manor
This home was designed for a couple looking to start a family and grow into this spacious home. The owners loved light, and needed ample storage. We were able to incorporate a few of their passions in the project including a built-in cat room with kitty door, window reading bench, a plant ledge in the kitchen, and a Instagram worthy tub nook. To cut cost a basement was not added, but we still were able to give plenty of storage above the garage.

Sandusky Boathouse
This custom designed boathouse was for a clients primary residence after selling their long time beloved home. Working with a client to build their forever home allows us to really get to know a client and how they live in a home before we can complete a final plan. This home perfectly reflects the couples lifestyle and needs in this next chapter. We worked with multiple engineers and specialists to design this home to safely be constructed over the water.

Sandusky Boathouse
This set of 2 boathouses was designed for a pair of owners situated on Lake Erie. Both homes were custom designed to fit the owners specific needs for their lifestyles, room spatial size needs, and unique boat well requirements. We worked with multiple engineers and specialists to design these to safely be constructed over the water.

Suburban Family Home
This home designed and built in northern Ohio. The family was looking build their forever home in this charming family focused neighborhood. We worked to maximize the spaciousness of the home in its generous footprint all while preserving their wish to have intimate individual spaces.

Urban Restoration
This personal project was completed in Central Ohio in 2019. The 1924 home is located in a coveted historic district and the original owners let the home go after many years in a state of disrepair. We worked to renovate the home to better fit a modern lifestyle all while preserving and restoring the original details of the home back to their original charm. In a neighborhood filled with small lots and tight floor plans, we were able to create a home that feels spacious and grand!

House on the Cul-de-Sac
This single family home was designed in a small lot neighborhood for a young family. While situated on a small lot, we were able to show lots of character in the front and rear of the home. This home included plenty of interior features such has a built in laundry shoot, custom kitchen island, built in wet bar and a generous master suite.

Sandusky 2nd Home
This custom designed boathouse was for a clients 2nd home to house out of town family and host social gatherings with friends. The plan was centered around a entertainers kitchen and extensive social space and bar area. The challenges mainly surrounded a large boat well and a elevator servicing all 3 floors. We worked with multiple engineers and specialists to design this home to safely be constructed over the water.

Sandusky Renovation
This home underwent a dramatic renovation going from a 1 bedroom, 1 bath highly inefficient home with a small garage to a comfortable 3 bedroom 3 bath home equiped with a 2.5 car garage. This new layout created a more logical layout with modern features like a entertainers kitchen, typically absent in most older homes.

Craftsmen Cottage
This home was designed to fit on a small lot while avoiding the typical small lot front facing garage door. This solution gave a lot of character to the home in a relatively small footprint.

Sheffield Starter Home
This existing home was renovated to house a newly married couple, the majority of the home reused, while reorganizing the interior layout to fit their needs and giving the exterior a much needed facelift. We were have to use the existing rooflines, but by adding a covered porch and a couple bumpouts were able to change the look completely. Interior and exterior finished pictures coming soon!
Huron Rental Property

This home slated to start construction soon is specifically designed for a vacation rental. This home was designed to maximize sleeping arrangements, while still boasting a great social and living space. The client aimed to have a nice house for their guests while having great photo worthy features on the interior.
Country Cottage

This home slated to start construction soon is uniquely situated on a large lot next to a wooded area and farm field. The open floor plan is oriented to highlight the entertaining space on the back porch giving the master suite and living areas easy access.

Sheffield Owners Suite
This budget conscious home addition added a much need 1st floor owners suite for a retired couple. This plan also included a living area off of the rear of the home and updated mechanicals in the existing home, a tricky task! The most important aspect of a project like this is future planning for possible limitations moving around the house.

Lakefront Residence
This series of schematic designs were completed in 2018 for a client in western Michigan. The client came to me with the desire to build a custom lake house with no idea where to start. At the start of the process their dream house ranged from high design modern concrete and steel to traditional Victorian. At the end of the schematic design we had found a design style (Modern Farmhouse) that was able to encompass all their wants and gave them a better understanding of the details they wanted to have to take to a local builder.
Coastal Retreat

This renovation in Cape Cod, Ma.. The original tired condominium was located on a beautiful river and was in desperate need of rejuvenation. Working with a tight budget, we were able to modernize the 80's era condominium with enough to bring it up to date without spending a lot!
